The first client of Bieszczad Górecki Adwokaci was one of the currently leading internet services in the automotive industry. Soon afterwards, an ERP software manufacturer joined the group of our clients. That is why from the very beginning of our activity we have specialised in the widely understood law related to running a business on the Internet, e-commerce industry and personal data protection. We have gained particular practice within copyright law, industrial property law, services delivered in the electronic way and personal data protection law.

Practical experience in the above areas allows us to represent our clients both in the negotiation process and in front of courts and the Patent Office.

  • We provide a complex service for companies and individual clients dealing with programming and software distribution. We represent both producers and ordering parties in relation with purchasing, sale, implementation and maintenance of IT systems. We offer unique experience in drafting and executing contract clauses concerning responsibility for software faults and software copyright breach. We represent ordering parties, contractors, subcontractors, software authors in court disputes and negotiations with Polish and foreign entities.
  • We have wide experience in the advisory on and implementations of suitable standards concerning personal data protection - also including entities processing personal data outside the borders of the European Union. We may pride ourselves on complex preparation and implementation of documentation of personal data protection for dozens of commercial entities and public administration units.
  • We have advised within personal data and drafted terms and conditions for providing services electronically to dozens of business entities – from information services to large e-commerce shops. We have drafted implementation policies and licence agreements concerning computer software.
